Hold opposite gun when picking up new gun. Hold primary to pick up pistol, hold secondary to pick up primary

Listen to the sound of nades hitting walls. Frag grenades make a different sound than every other nade, except molotovs.

Let priority players move out of spawn first. If AWPer wants to get early peek on an angle, let him go through so you don't body block

Communicate your own health, especially in 2vX situations

If all enemies are coming from one side post-plant, coordinate a crossfire with a nearby teammate. Try not to bait unless it will net better results than a crossfire (such as due to low health, one member using AWP, etc)

Don't expose yourself when switching to a nade, duck under cover then jiggle peek to spot/throw the nade

Forcing with 4 on AKs and one on subpar buy is almost always worth. Place subpar person on deagle or similar weapon, then let them be utility for the round

If available, always hold an angle from cover. The only time you maybe want to hold in the open is if enemy is preaiming or prefiring common angles, or when you are on a inferior buy (deagle vs AK for example)

You can often use the black smoke of a HE grenade to move up into a better position. Most lower ranked players won't have the ability to see such movements or won't react in time to punish

When making advantageous pushes into chokepoints or smokes, have one member looking away or watching an off angle so as not to get caught by open flashes/popflashes

When possible, jiggle peek with knife instead of primary. You're much less likely to get caught from "tagslow" or shot by an AWP. Common play by pros is to do 1 or 2 knife peeks then swap to primary for a full peek.

Have a button handy to clear decals. Blood and debris may hide someone, especially in a shadow. Bind a button to "r_cleardecals"

Boiler smoke>Push Arches works, but it's best to find a smoke that hits the cross-section of top mid so that you're open to go either arches or boiler. This allows diversity in similar plays, which helps in keeping opponents from reading you

Keep crosshair at head level at all times. The only time this doesn't matter is when you have your knife out, but any other time your crosshair should at least be at chest level.

When making flank plays on CT side, make sure to check all angles, even if it's just a sweeping glance. This could save you and your teammates a lot of trouble.

CT Side rushes and stacks should be fully coordinated and talked about. Communicate if you're going to hug a side, if you're going to swing wide, coordinate crossfires, etc.

AUG and SG should only scope at mid-range and beyond. Close range should always be hip fired.

Coordinate B site holds. This is especially true on Inferno, and can also be applied to practically any site hold in the game. Coordinate if you're playing back, peeking, playing for banana control, playing for crossfire, trying to bait an angle, etc.
