China: the graph representing China’s demography from 1950 to 2100 consists of a curved line that increases until it reaches a peak between 2020 and 2030, and after that, it slowly decreases. Therefore we can state that the size of the population increased since 1950 and it is going to increase until 2030. After 2030, the population size in China is going to slowly decrease. However, the overall population from 1950 to 2100 has a positive change: it goes from 544,112,923 people to 1,004,391,965 people.

Nigeria: the graph representing Nigeria’s demography from 1950 to 2100 is quite different from the one that represents China’s. It consists of a curved line which has only a gradual increase with time, and it appears to never decrease. Therefore I can clearly state that the total population in Nigeria has been increasing since 1950 and it is going to increase in the future. Nigeria is the most populated country in Africa and in 2030 it is believed that it is going to be the third most populated country in the world with about 262,599,107 inhabitants (CITE:https://www.africarivista.it/nigeria-la-popolazione-sale-a-200-milioni-di-persone/121543/). The country’s population increased drastically from 1950 until now (2019), and it is going to increase even more in the future decades. Totally, from 1950 to 2100, the overall population goes from 37,859,745 people to 752,247,359 people.
