2) Every composite, moreover, is subsequent (logically posterior) to its components. The first being, therefore, which is God, has no components.

5) Causes are more noble than effects and God is the first cause so God is the most noble being. More noble, more simple. So God is utterly simple.
6) Again, prior to all multitude we must find unity. But there is multitude in every composite. Therefore, that which is before all things, namely, God, must be free of all composition.
7) The good is found only in the whole not the parts. Parts are imperfect relative to the whole and do not have the same perfections. Now if God have parts, there would belong to God that which is imperfect namely the parts which means that God is not the highest and most noble good.
