Background
We are setting up a robust wireless infrastructure for a computer institution. This intuition has three different floor levels and the number of users access the internet is different. In the top floor they have a cafeteria which needs internet access all the time as students and teachers will be using their own device for different uses. Similarly, a computer lab is setup with 60 computers which are connected to the internet along with additional devices like laptops and smartphones in the second floor of the institution. In the first floor, this institution runs classes in seven different rooms and they have 50 computers along with devices of the students and lecturers which need wireless access to the internet.
Students require the WLAN access so that they could have a full access to different services like online access to library and research materials. They also use their own devices which they use for internet browsing, uploading, storing and downloading data. On the other hand, the lecturers require the ability to fully access institutional services at any given time. Lectures also have their own device which they use for information exchange, e-book sharing, different transaction between lecturers and students.
The institution runs classes from Monday to Friday from 9am till 8pm. There are at least 200 students and 20 lecturers who needs internet connectivity during its operational hours. As the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) is gaining more popularity, additional devices also need wireless connectivity.
