/me Maki wasn't so sure how the hell she was managing to keep herself standing up anymore, especially considering she was carrying a two year old as well as a baby. She had practically forced herself to get decently dressed, though hadn't bothered trying to cover up the obvious exhaustion on her face- she was never one for make up anyways. She slowly trudged along the street- with Mai strapped to her chest, the baby actually sleeping for once- and pushing Haru forward in a stroller, the toddler gently clutching on a pale pink bunny with a bow on it's one floppy ear as he sniffled loudly. Slowly, she approached the apartment building where Shuichi lived and sighed tiredly as she went up on an elevator.

It was obvious she wasn't in the best of health as of lately. She had gotten notably skinnier since leaving the hospital with Mai- the baby being born a bit prematurely, though not to the point of being in danger of having major health risks- though despite being pregnant she came out looking more like she hadn't eaten in two weeks then she was before. Shuichi nor Kaito had visited her in the hospital, so neither of them would have known- not even Sameal or Makoto did, though they at least had actual excuses why. Haru had to stay in the hospital the entire time, sleeping in the same bed as his mother- she couldn't take care of him nearly as well when she was in bed, and after an incident involving an iv bag and him deciding to see if the liquid within tasted like water or not, she decided to check herself out early. Mai was fine after three days of being observed, though they wanted her to stay longer- but against orders, she left with the two year old and as she did through her entire damn pregnancy, locked herself in her apartment with the two of them until Sameal came to visit. At least, she finally left again- mostly to find Shuichi to dump the responsibility of Mai off on him for awhile. And though he definitely didn't know, it was still his baby- if not obvious enough by her dark blue hair- so he got her.

When she finally got upstairs, she gave Haru over to Miles- which the toddler happily accepted his fate, as he adored the man- and slowly headed down the hall.
