Jinx, hex, curse : Ditingkatkan menurut efek yang terlihat.
Jinx : Jenis kutukan paling minor. Bertahan jika perapal menjaga kontak mata dengan target. Hanya menimbulkan luka kecil.
Co : Tarantallegra (ta-RON-ta-LEG-ra), Ventus jinx (menghasilkan angin yang menghempaskan lawan)
Hex : dari bahasa jerman hexe (untuk pelatihan penyihir). jenis kutukan yang menyebabkan luka cukup parah, namun tidak menyebabkan kecacatan atau kematian. Menyebabkan luka minor dapat dilawan dengan counter spell. Counter spell : hexe breaker. Jenis sihir tingkat tinggi.
Curse : jenis kutukan paling berbahaya menyebabkan cacat permanen bahkan kematian. Jenis kutukan yang sangat dilarang karena menghilangkan nyawa orang mendapat hukum terberat dalam praktek sihir. Curse bisa menurun pada keturunan. Namun walau dipelajari tidak semua orang bisa melancarkan kutukan. Selain butuh kemampuan, pengalam dan keahlian juga memengaruhi dalam melancarkan kutukan.
