How do you serve an ale? /3
- Make sure there is a sparkler on the tap (small green thing that adds more head to the ale)
- Be sure to part pour as if not the ale will overflow causing a massive increase in wastage.
- 5% head.

- Take can from the fridge, leave unopened with a world beer glass, 2/3 ice and a lime

- Gin glass, 2/3 ice and a strawberry. 1 or 2 shots of Gordon's Pink Gin finished with lemonade

What would you do if a customer asks you to put their phone on charge? /3
- Say this cannot be done behind the bar and advise them to the variety of plug sockets located across the pub. The risk of damage to their phone becomes ours when we accept it's care.
What do you do when taking an iOrder and the customer says it's for a friend that isn't there? /1
- Tell the customers that their friend that their drink is ready and to collect it at the bar.
What do you do if you take an iOrder to someone who looks underage? /1
- ID the customer. Take a ultra-violet torch and scan the ID to show lit up coloured lines.
What do you do if someone makes a complaint? /3
- Simply apologize to the customer, explain the situation to the kitchen and politely ask for it to be remade. Finally, tell a manager the situation in case the customer needs further care.
How do you check an ID? /3
- Scan under ultra-violet light to see lit up coloured lines.
- Looking at the back of the ID, is the small face reflective?
- Scratch the surname of the ID as fakes the name can rub off easily.

TIPS & HACKS
If it's in a can use a world beer glass.
If you are every stuck on what to garnish a gin with you can look at the sheet on the right of the fruit or the buttons on the till are colour coded to use the correct garnish.
When deep cleaning in the glasswash you can splash a very small amount of monster onto the bottom panel on the front of the machine in order to remove the white, built up scum.
