Golden State Warriors ve Houston Rockets arasında oynanan ilk iki maçı Golden State kazanarak durumu 2-0'a getirmişti.
Houston ise üçüncü maçı birinci uzatma devresinin sonunda 126-121 kazanarak durumu 2-1'e getirdi.
Galibiyetin mimarlarından önemli isimler kuşkusuz James Harden ve Eric Gordon.
Harden, 45 dakika parkede kaldı ve (14/32) 41 sayı üretti. Gordon da 45 dakika parkedeydi ve takıma (11/20) 30 sayılık bir katkı sağladı.
Golden State tarafında ise Kevin Durant'ın insanüstü performansı takıma sırtlamaya yetmedi.
Durant, (14/31) 46 sayı, 3 ribaunt ve 6 asistle oynadı.
Bir başka parlayan isim ise Draymond Green idi.
Green, (6/10) 19 sayı, 11 ribaunt ve 10 asist ile triple-double yaptı.
Stephen Curry ise sadece 17 sayıda kaldı.
Maç içerisinde Draymond Green'in eli bir pozisyonda tekrardan James Harden'ın gözüne doğru gitti.
