Bloomsford is a growing gardening company based in and around the Winchester area. We offer garden maintenance and groundsman roles for many to many large estates and houses.
We currently have a full-time gardening and groundsman position based in and around the Winchester area. This is a continuous long term role (not seasonal) and you would be working all year round, in all weathers.
We are ideally after someone who has a qualification in horticulture and has had outdoor experience in gardening and groundsman roles. We would consider people who have had many many years of proven garden experience. Good plant knowledge is also needed.
We are after someone who is willing to work hard, is a great team player, enthusiastic, has great attention to detail and a real passion for gardening and being out in all weathers.
Someone who can bring new ideas and new skill sets to Bloomsford and help make our clients gardens even better.
We also would need someone who can drive and has a car, but most of the time you would be driven to the client's gardens.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Weeding.
Hedge cutting.
Some soft landscaping.
Vegetable production.
General garden maintenance.
Grass cutting.
General groundsman roles.
Lawn work - seeding, and turfing.
Edging.
Planting.
Pruning.
Maintenance of gardening and grounds equipment as required.
Any other duties as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Qualifications:
A Horticulture qualification (preferred)
Applicant must hold a current driving licence (Essential)
