Hello! I am 22- years -old, and I am an Early Childhood Education Major. I am currently working towards my associates degree. I would love to be a nanny for a while to save up money and gain more experience before I go towards my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. I plan to be a lead teacher in a pre-school classroom, and to one day run my own pre-school. I enjoy being around children of all ages, I have experience with ages from birth to 15-years- old. I absolutely love children and spending time with them! I come from a big family that is always popping out children. I have 14 younger cousins, the youngest just turned 2! I have always loved children and I am a natural with them. I have a lot of experience with children and have taken multiple child development classes in college. When I started babysitting, I was watching over my cousins (4 and 2). Today they are 13 and 8 and they now have a sister who is 4. While watching over them, my duties were to entertain them away from the television, keeping them outdoors, reading to them before bed, and taking them to their various activities (cheer leading, gymnastics, etc.). I can cook, clean and perform any other household duties that need to be taken care of. I love animals so pets are not an issue. I am a trustworthy person who is self-sufficient and responsible. I am also first aid/ CPR certified, and have a clean driving record. I once volunteered for St. Joe's summer camp as an assistant teacher, so I am used to being with a large group of children. I also have experience with special needs children. I have a cousin whom has down syndrome and I have babysat a child who was autistic. I also volunteered for Iron Stone Farm's "Challenge Unlimited", Which a program for children who have Developmental or physical Disabilities. The last time I worked with a family we had a strong relationship, when I started working with them the twins were 1 and their older sister was 2 1/2, now the twins are almost 5, and their sister is 6. My duties there were keeping them occupied, staying away from electronics and doing hands on activities, making them dinner, taking them to activities. My favorite things to do when with children are doing arts and crafts, playing outside and reading to children.
