Depression, comes silently. It creeps over you slowly, so slowly that you don’t even realize that you changed. You say that it’s temporary, and it’ll go away. But it doesn’t. It gets worse and worse until you no longer feel... anything. You’re numb, and even the simplest tasks like moving a table, going to work or even just standing up, become almost impossible. And that’s when you slowly start to back away from your friends and family. The little things that used to make you happy, like the sun rising in the morning, or planting a flower in the garden, are now worthless. You don’t bother doing anything, so you just lay there, feeling numb. The things that make your friends happy, leave you indifferent. You soon realize that you can’t go on like this. You’re not actually living. You’re human, but not humane. You’re conscious, but not really there. So you can either decide to... get help. Or... commit a suicide. I’d prefer the latter, but that doesn’t mean that you should. Call someone, anyone, if you need help.
