Serum history:
Ryan is scientist before family developing serum which when put under extreme circumstances causes a power to release
Sean wanted this serum, but Ryan wouldn't give so he secretly injected into max as a baby
As Ryan is a lawyer after moving to Seattle, he investigates Sean. But Vanessa is a spy for Sean so tells him which causes the assassination attempt
Rachel-has fire and weather powers
Ryan-joins the Brazilian peace corps (a secret cover for an anti-prescott militant group lead by Kristine) and starts giving info about serum
