Notes

Kana lay awake in her bed, the pale pink covers surround her. One arm was on top of her blanket, the hand resting peacefully on the cool fabric. The other ar, had the elbow under the covers, but the hand on the pillow with palm facing upwards. She had a blank sleepy expression on her face. Her blonde hair was lain out and a bit scattered on the pillow. She wore ruffly white pajamas. The top was like a tanktop and the bottoms were short shorts, amd it was quite breathable, something good to have in regions like Hoenn and Alola. Her Swampert rested on a big Pokémon bed, covered by a blanket. Swampert was the only Pokémon that truly stayed with her. Yes, her Delcatty resided with her stepmom, and her Archen always came around and helped to wake Kana up, but other than that? Some Pokémon of hers were in other regions. Her entire Unova team was staying with Professor Juniper (with the exception of her Audino, which was a gift to Bianca). Her Alola Pokémon, Primarina, Mimikyu, Toucannon, and Alolan Ninetales, stayed with various people or lived in various places (Her Ninetales who had gone off to Mount Lanakila to become stronger and guard the Icium Z, and her Toucannon which lived in the Lush Jungle and was cared for by Mallow. Her Mimikyu wasn't trusting of many humans but loved kids, and went to the Aether House. Primarina was living his best life in Aether's Conservation Area). Her Hoenn team mostly lived with Professor Birch. Well, not all of her Hoenn team... Her Rayquaza resided at Spear Pillar. She missed Quazzy dearly, but accepted the fact that she couldn't take care of a legendary, that it needed to be free.

The whole if you love me let me go thing was always hard for Kana. Because if who she loves wishes to leave, then does that imply they don't love her back? Thinking about it reminded Kana of a certain.... Somebody. Somebody she absolutely hated, but still deeply loved although she was afraid to admit it. "I'm done with love" she would say, "It's pointless. I don't love him anymore and I doubt I'll ever love anyone again." She denied her love for N, but it still remained. When they met in Accumula Town, it meant nothing. But their second meeting was the first time Kana had ever felt so attracted to someone the way she did. She was having a hard time comprehending it. Why did he leave? After everything they exchanged, why did he have to leave her? He was the reason she could no longer stand to look at ferris wheels. They reminded her too much of him....


Kana brushed the sand off of her clothes. Route 4 had been brutal. But Nimbasa? It was beautiful. She happily walked up the steps. It was then when her attention turned to the ferris wheel. Ferris wheels! She had always wanted to go on one. Her father and stepmother tried taking her on one when she was quite little, but she freaked out and got scared. Ever since that day she wondered what going on a ferris wheel would be like. She wanted to go on it!

As she walked around Nimbasa, so many things caught her eye. The big inflated Pikachu welcoming visitors, the flashing lights at the gym... But what she didn't notice was a rock in front of her. She tripped on it, letting out a small shriek. She tightly shut her eyes and braced for the fall- when a soft hand grabbed her wrist. "O-oh, thank you, I um-" she opened her eyes to see who had caught her. "Oh... You are the boy from Accumula Town?"

He smiled. "So we meet again." he helped her up and let go of her wrist. She was a few inches shorter than him, pale, and had her blonde hair in two low pigtails. Her jean shorts still had some sand on them. Her shirt was white with a pink and yellow faded design of a Skitty on it. "I was looking for some Team Plasma grunts. I was wondering if you'd like to help me."

"Mm, okay, I guess."

"Great. Let's see if we can spot them from the ferris wheel."

"Huh?" he took her hand and walked over to the ferris wheel. Kana blushed slightly when he grabbed her hand.

They reached the entrance of the ferris wheel and walked onto the compartment. He only then let go of her hand. "Sorry about that. Didn't want you to get lost."

"Oh, it is okay." they stood at the front window together. Kana looked very serious at the beginning of the ride, looking for Team Plasma, but as the rode continued, her expression softened up. She looked peaceful and happy. N looked at her and smiled.

"You know, I love ferris wheels. The circular motion, the gears... It's like a bundle of elegant formulas." Kana looked at him and just smiled and nodded. She didn't understand a few of the words he had said, but the first sentence she fully knew.

"It is my first time on one."

"Really?"

"Mhm."

"That's great." they stood in silence for a minute. He caught himself staring at her again. "You know, Kana you're very pretty."

"Huh?" she looked at him and blushed. "I- um, thank you. You are, also.. Pretty." he smiled at her choice of words.

"Your Pokémon... In Accumula town they talked about you so much, during our battle. They seemed to really love you. I can understand their feelings now much better." Kana was now blushing furiously. What was this? She wanted to say something back but she had no idea what she could say. "I have something to tell you. I feel it is important that you know. I am the King of Team Plasma."

She was very shocked and confused now, a bit hurt too. "何?" was all she could say. She couldn't even comprehend what to do and forgot the word in English. The ferris wheel ride ended.

*blah blah blah, they have a battle, Kana is confsed, Kana is blushing, Kana loves him, yeah*





Kana sighed. She missed him. She wanted to go back to Unova but was afraid... Afraid to face her feelings again. She wanted to just move on, to go somewhere else. She had always wanted to go to Sinnoh. Galar looked nice. Somewhere new. Somewhere she would forget N.

No. She had to confront her past before she could move on to her future. She had to return to Unova. She got out of her bed and went to her desk. She grabbed a journal she hadn't written in. "I am leaving for Unova as soon as possible. I need to confront my past. I need to face my feelings at last. I am tired of pitying myself because N left. I am tired of hating Unova for being the place my heart was broken. I am going back." she wrote in Japanese. She didn't want to go. But she had to.

IM GOING TO GET BLACK 2 or WHITE 2 AND HAVE MORE DRAMA BETWEEN KANA AND N! They need a ship name... I'll figure it out.
