A game was being made about someone who lacked empathy. They were capable of empathy and being kind, they tried to be kind aswell, but they just had trouble with empathy. Kids eventually tended to avoid the character because they know MC is p rude. You go through the game with any goal you want to pursue. You could try to cause havoc or you could try to be kind in the school. You could try to be neutral. It's actually quite hard not to have the "cause havoc" route happen because unless certain events happen(d?), options will be crossed out and you have to do things beforehand or have things happen to you in the game otherwise some calm options will be crossed out, making you unable to act rationally sometimes. To get these crossed out options to be available, you need to have conversations with other students and choose certain options which are kinder/more on the empathetic side. There are students who you won't be able to converse with, however, you just need to give them a reason to converse. Perhaps a shared interest/hatred/friend. Joining the same club as them, expressing the same dislike on someone (telling them a rumour about someone they don't like, etc etc.), and befriending (conversing multiple times with a good end-result) their friend(s). When you have the option to actually talk to them, you can befriend them and depending on who it is, (a bully, a normal student, or a normal student but nicer lmao) your "empathy points" either go down or up. Eventually, if you have enough bad conversations with someone, they don't want to talk to you again. Doing this will cause your reputation to drop for 2-4 days. There are some npcs who'll talk to you only if your reputation is low (e?) and some being the opposite (the "popular" npcs.) depending on how your conversations go with different people, your empathy points increase/decrease. The more empathy points you have, the less options are crossed out.
