Social Studies World and Geography and Cultures Assignment
A. I wanted to go to Paris, France because my mom went there when she was seventeen, and it was her first trip to a foreign country. My mom and dad also went a trip to Paris together a few times before I was born. In Paris, France, I would like to go on the Eiffel Tower, go to on metro, go to restaurants and cafes where there's fun food and go to some famous museums and libraries there. I have heard from my mom that there are beautiful gardens in Paris,there's a music band played in the metro where you can buy coins to listen to it and in Paris, there are some restaurants with amazing food, but there are also some restaurants that serve bad food and food that's not good; I would also like to eat frog legs when I go to Paris. What I'd expect to find when I arrive in Paris is to see the Eiffel Tower, see how the place in different than in American, what it's like taking the metro to Paris and checking out the famous museums and libraries. In Paris, the food will be different, what to see will be different and the things people do there will be different from in America.

B. 1) France is located on the western edge of Europe, and is near Spain, the UK, Switzerland, Luximborg, Portugal, the Pyness Mountains, the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea

8) In France, it's usually cold in the winter and mild in the summer. It's generally warm in the spring and can be cold in the Fall
9) For fun, French people enjoy shopping in street markets and flea markets, strolling through city streets, stopping at cafes and restaurants, skiing, and visiting beaches,
10) The prmiary means of transportation in France include metro, buses, trains and taxis
11) A typical home in France is furnished like any home is the Western civilization. The homes are a little smaller than in the US, but they also seem a little different. Inside the house their have electric water heaters and inside the water heater, the water tends to get hot. Some of the things in this house seem to be a little strange, and the climate in France is usually mild. A lot of homes don't have screen windows which means there may be lots of mosquitoes there in the summer.
12) Some of the dangers you might encounter in France include high terrorist risk, a high pickpocket risk, and a few avalanche risk in the Alps. Overall, it's a safe country.
13) The sort of foods eaten in Paris, France are frog legs, french fries, crepes, quiche and apple tart, Frog legs are usually prepared with butter, garlic and sometimes parsley sauce. French fries are usually prepared by first cutting the potato into even strips and then they are soaked in cold water to remove the surface starch. Crepes are usually prepared with beurre Suzette (a melted butter-based sauce with caramelized sugar) juice of orange and a tangerine. Quiche is usually prepared with eggs, milk or cheese, cheese and vegetables. And apple tart is usually prepared with sliced apples, pastry, cinnamon and sugar.
14) They are usually found in a business casual dress. They wear a great deal of black clothing and also wear clothing with low-print key and graphics. Women wear scarves around their necks, wear sunglasses and stylish backpacks and they keep their nails short and polished. The French also wear clothes that give them a fabulous look.

C. In Paris, the people speak French which is a language different from English. The Fresh alphabet has the exact same letters as in the English, but the letter pronunciation is different from English. The way French people use transportation is different from in California. In the French cuisine, the food is usually different food from in America. People can also eat out on the road in Paris, and in California people don't usually do that. The buildings, places and monuments are very different from what it's like in California. In France, people wear clothes differently from California. French homes a little different from the ones in America. The French people do things differently for fun than in America. The French industries also used differently from in America.
