Hello Future Me, or Whoever else is watching this, I am Grayce Bechtel and It is August 5, 2019. In two days, on August 7th, I'm going to be starting my 8th Grade Year at Poplar Grove School in Franklin, TN. This will be my ninth and final year in this school. It is a sad and exciting year. I was thinking over the summer, How am I going to remember this year? Over the past years I have a "diary" where I keep memories or people that I want to remember. I wanted to do something easier because writing takes a lot of time and energy. I decided to make video diaries to remember the teachers, schoolwork, friendships, and whatever else comes with my eighth grade year. I hope to do them at least once a week or more depending on whats going on. It will be little recaps of my life in the 2019-2020 school year. It will also keep up with the different family things we do because it is Emily's senior year, and I think it will be very interesting. Andrew and I are taking Geometry with Jonathan and Tobey this year. Last year's class had to do PE with the 7th graders and not with their class, but that would be a nightmare because I'm the only girl, so I would have to be with all the younger kids. We been talking about this for the whole summer. Mom told me that Tobey didn't care, but Andrew and I are confused because he would be all by himself because he is the only one of us that is in another music class. We are trying to fix this, so we will see how it goes. Tomorrow is meet your teacher night and it will be very interesting to see who we get. I'll get more into my classes, homeroom, and different events happening in my next video before the first day of school.
