Notes

The Akala Island sun shone in from the windows upon her face. She slowly fluttered her eyes open. She stretched and then got out of bed to go wash her face. After washing her face she continued to get ready and prepare for the upcoming day. What would happen? She didn't know. She didn't care honestly. Life would happen as it went on. She walked out the door and headed for the lobby of the Tide Song Hotel. As she walked past the reception desk, she heard a voice. "Oh! You there. Ms. Um... Kana Hidaka is it? It looks like you haven't payed your bill for staying here." Kana felt sudden panic. She walked up to the reception desk.

"O-oh, I guess you're right... Well. Um. I don't exactly have any more money..." she said quietly and nervously. All of her money that she had that allowed her to stay there was from battling in Unova. She had pretty much used it all up. The Tide Song was expensive.

The man at the counter looked stern. "Well, if you can't pay, you'll need to be checking out. Now."

"I-I, I um.... I understand..." she said sadly. She walked back to the elevator and back to her room.

It took her about an hour to get all packed up. As she checked out the sudden realization hit her- she didn't have a place to stay. It was either find somewhere to live while in Alola, or.... Go home to Hoenn. She didn't want to go home, not yet.
