 One day i was driving in the car with my mom and sister. The street was a bit busy and i was focusing on the road.Not realizing it there was a red light close ahead, cars in front started to break. My mom, realizing i wasn't slowing down shouted my name in urgency so we didn't hit the car in front. Now i check to see if people are starting to brake ahead of me. That is a reason why my mom is a hero by keeping me safe.She is a hero for so many reasons and i will share how she sacrifices time, her selflessness, and kind to others.

My mother has done multiple things to prove that she is a hero in my life and in others. She is very selfless in all that she does. She often spends most of her money providing a home and shelter for her children. She sacrifices time a lot. An example of this starts off when my aunt and one of my cousins came to Arizona from California. On a Tuesday we went to the community pool down the street. We all put sunblock on ourselves and my mom put it on our backs. We stayed there for more than two hours! We eventually left grabbing our pool toys and goggles. When we got to our grandparents house to visit that night my mom revealed to us the extremely red sunburn on her back. It made my back hurt just looking at it. She put some ointment on it to help. fast forward to Saturday we had hung out with our cousin all week at his sisters house ,but this was the last day he came to our house. We wanted to go swimming and we were gonna go just me, My sister, and my cousin. But my mom with peeling skin put on a long sleeve shirt and joined us. This shows that she sacrifices time and to be with us even though she could've stayed home.

Another reason my mom is a hero is because she is kind to others.She is always trying to make people happy at church and let them feel welcomed. There's a older lady in our ward and she was in need of a friend. My mother stepped in a would talk to her and enjoy the lady's company. Also my mom's job is to be kind to others and help them be comfortable. She works for Hospice Of The Valley, which helps make people comfortable and relaxed as they pass away. Her job is to comfort and discuss where it would be best for the patient to stay that would be best suited for them.This shows how patient and kind she is to others.

In conclusion my mom is a hero to me in my life for being nice to people, giving up time,and caring about others more than herself. There are so many examples of her doing these things. But the things she does is make me want to be a better person. I want to be kind and make others feel good when i'm near. To bring smiles to peoples faces and lift their burdens.
