Take notes from the textbook and in class.
Revise those notes
--> Think of questions from those notes or the textbook and answer those questions verbally.** (IMPORTANT)
Ask the teacher for the marking criteria and past papers.
Also, ask to set possible essay questions.
Try to separate the study times -- instead of a 1hr block, maybe do 20-minute parts.
Try to manage time during the exam.

--> "Rush" the multiple-choice. (Max time spent: 5 minutes)
--> Depending on the length of the source, spend more or less time on these questions. (Max time spent: 15 minutes)
==> Usually, questions for more than 3 marks are an 'explain' question relating to the source.
==> [Will] Start with your knowledge to answer the question. Use the sources to support your answer.
==> Ask the teacher for a way to incorporate the source into the answer.
--> You don't NEED a plan for the extended response. (No Max time spent)
==> If it says to refer to the previous sources, actually refer to the previous sources for more than 1 sentence.
