Apex Legends Update on Reporting System!

Hey guys Sethly here back with another apex legends video. I hope your having a fantastic day, in this video we are covering the new change that was made to the reporting system yesterday. As far as I know, Respawn hasn't made an announcement about this addition so I knew I had to make video for you guys because I know a lot of people don't know about this feature and it is very useful now that we have solos. On to the details of the change Respawn made to the reporting system in apex.

As you guys know, when you go to report someone in game it shows you set of different options that you can report someone for. Up until recently, there was no report option for teaming but thankfully there is now. Ill show on screen, there is now an option to report someone for cooperting with an enemy. With the addition of solos, this report option is definitely a necessity and Im glad Respawn took note of that and made a quick change in order to make the solo game mode run as smoothly as possible. I have seen and been killed by multiple people that were teaming with other people in solos as well as full squads teaming so I know how frustrating it can be to die to something like that.

This new update to the reporting system is great but it definitely doesn't fix the bigger problem, which is the entire way the reporting system is run in apex legends. First off, you can only report people on pc if you have origin in game overlay on and I know a lot of people turn that off, just like me so sometimes you can't report anyone in game. Another big problem is the fact that you pretty much can't report anyone in apex on consoles because it redirects you to the person's profile so you can report them to sony or microsoft. Sadly, that is not really a viable option when reporting something like this because Sony doesn't accept reports for small issues like this and apparently the person who reports can get in trouble for repeated reports.

Clearly, there needs to be some much bigger changes made to the reporting system but at least they added the cooperating with enemy option because it makes me think that they added this because they plan on making solo a permanent game mode.
