In reviewing the NipponFlex process the Installments and Credit approval process requires changes to the standar mechanism for shop transactions.

On Checkout if user has both E-Energy and Matress products in the cart they must be asked to choose credit card or Install Payments to pay for everything.

If Credit Card, process is standard

If Not Credit Card then user must be presented with Installment Calculator which has amortization settings so that they can specify down payment and see what the monthly installment will be.

Once user accepts this information they must also upload several documents for credit approval and identification. These documents will need to be stored indefinitely. The quote itself must be stored and allow the user to change and resubmit should they desire to. In addition, user must place a payment method on file - either echeck or credit card.

If Credit Approval requires changes to the installments then integration with the ERP to retrieve changes and the changes become the latest revision to the quote and only the final version can be "accepted". Note this final version of data will also specify if user is High or Low Risk.

If accepted the user indicates acceptance of the quote and and the downpayment is charged to their payment method. In addition, all subsequent payments are scheduled.

Note if low risk, all cv is to be allocated to the initial payment. If high risk CV is split across installments.

If the user defaults on payments their account is referred back to the credit department who works through the distributor to revise future payments. An ammedment to the quote (now contract) is made to change the future payment schedule and amounts.

However no commissions can be paid out until delivery of the product has been made.

Modifications:

1) Add installments payment mechanism on checkout if user is purchasing non E-Energy products

2) If installments method chosen redirect user to installment calculator

3) Build installment calculator

4) Build storage mechanism for installment quotes, ammendments, associated docs - (AWS S3 bucket?)

5) Build interface for user retrieval/review/acceptance of quotes - acceptance can only be of a credit approved quote.

6) Build interface for user ammendment to quote - creates new quote

7) Build interface to TOTUS to submit quotes to credit department

8) Build interface to TOTUS to retrieve acceptance of approved quote/ammendments from credit department

9) Build process to create orders on acceptance of approved quote - quote is now marked as contract and can no longer be ammended by user

10) Build process to remove future orders and add new orders when ammendment is received

NEW) user must sign contract whether paying in full or via installments. This requires integration with DocuSign. If paying via Credit Card, user must be taken to contract immediately after enrolling. If paying via installments the Docusign contract is triggered as needing signing after Credit Dept approves. So when we receive API call from NF for credit modified agreement, we need to email user to login. When user logs in they are presented with a popup indicating contract waiting for signature.
If credit card, and contract not completed, order is voided
If installments and contract not completed, user is prompted again on login to the site and/or can't do anything else but complete contract or cancel.
DS intregation needs to allow for embedded signing

11) Allow user to increase payment or add an additional payment to apply to principal. Note if done this will need to force a new ammendment to contract.

12) Build process to allocate CV depending on credit risk rating

13) Build process to generate an order when notified by TOTUS that delivery has been accepted

14) Build interface to TOTUS to inform when downpayment and subsequent payments are made
