Üniversitede okurken 1987 yılında Araştırma şirketi Konda’nın sahibi Tarhan Erdem’in yanında çalışmaya başladı. Araştırma sektörüne anketör olarak giren ve 1995 yılına kadar çeşitli araştırma şirketlerinde yöneticilik yapmış olan Adil Gür, 1995 yılında ise A&G Araştırma Şirketi’ni kurdu.
Adil Gür, 1995-2015 yılları arasında seçim tahminleri ile adını duyurdu. Birçok siyasi ve sosyal içerikli araştırma yürütmektedir. Yaklaşık 3 yıldır Türkiye’nin çeşitli belediyeleri ile birlikte Dünya Bankası ve Avrupa Birliği kaynaklı “Vatandaş Karnesi – Başkan Dinliyor” adlı projeyi yürütmekte, vatandaş memnuniyetini arttırıcı çalışmalar yapmaktadır. Adil Gür, 1999 yılında Naile Gür ile evlendi. 1 kız, 1 erkek çocuk babasıdır.
