Dulu, Planet Lorien merupakan planet yang makmur sebagai rumah bagi para Loric. Namun, Mogadorian membantai planet tersebut. Beruntungnya para Elder berhasil menyelamatkan 9 Garde beserta dengan Cepan, Pilot dan beberapa Chimaera ke Bumi.
Setiap Garde yang diselamatkan ke Bumi dilindungi sihir yang membuat Mogadorian hanya dapat membunuh mereka berdasarkan urutan nomor mereka. Saat salah satu dari mereka terbunuh, luka seperti bekas terbakar akan menghiasi kaki mereka.

3. Three (Hannu), terbunuh di Kenya.
4. Eight, terbunuh oleh Number Five. Cepannya, Reynolds.

6. Ten (Ella). Penjaganya Crayton, status : Mati.
