Notes

(Ashley is in 5th year and the golden trio and Draco Malfoy and all of them, including Robin, are in 6th year)

"Ash, wake up" I felt my shoulder shaking. I slowly opened my eyes to see my mother. "Good morning mother"
"morning darling, get up before you're late for the train, we'll be apparating you and your brother to the train station in 20 minutes"
"is father coming too?" mother sighed and shook her head, no.
"sorry darling"
"it's okay" I shrugged and with a swirl of my mother's wand my trunk was packed and ready. "come down dear, when you're ready." I nodded. I put my clothes on and brushed my hair, before dragging my trunk down the stairs. I found Draco and my mother waiting by the door. "good for you to join us" mother said, smiling slightly, something she rarely does anymore. Draco and I held my mother's hand and she apparated us to the train station where we said farewell to our mother and Draco grabbed my hand to stop my small figure from getting lost in the crowd. Draco was an asshole, but he was extremely protective over me. My shoulder slammed into a girl and I slowed to a stop, stopping Draco too. I stared into the beautiful girl's eyes, time seemed frozen. Of course, I knew her, Robin Black, Gryffindor, prankster, my brother despised her, but this is the first time I truly looked at her. "I'm sorry," we both said at the same time. I giggled gently looking down and felt a yank on my wrist. "come on Ash, we don't talk to filth" I looked up at my brother who glared at Robin. I glanced apologetically at the girl as I am dragged away and she nodded in understanding.
"stay away from that girl, she's no good, especially not for you Ash." Draco looked knowingly at me. We eventually found our way on the train and I sat next to Pansy leaning heavily on the window, looking out into the darkness, a certain Gryffindor on my mind. The boys left to go get changed, while we changed in here and Pansy stared at me for a while. "you've got a crush" she said as a statement. "what?" I looked at her incredulously.
"I know that look."
"who's the girl?" I hushed her loudly.
"don't say that so loud, who knows who could be listening" I grabbed her wrist tightly. she hissed.
"Alright I'm sorry, now let go" she stared for a moment more, before carrying on getting changed. "tell me later," she said.
"fine" I muttered before carrying on getting changed.

a while later, the train finally arrived at the station and we were making our way to the carriage and Draco decided to pick a fight with Potter. "just stay away from me!" Potter yelled and Draco pulled my hand walking away smugly, I yet again caught the eye of Robin. I don't know why but I just felt like I wanted to talk to her. I walked with my brother and his group to the carriages and I sat by him leaning my head on his shoulder, exhausted. The carriage moved on and I fell into a nap.
"Ash, come on, wake up." I nodded, opening my eyes to get out of the carriage.
