Hello,

I am extremely excited to have this opportunity to prove myself as the prime candidate for the Sr. QA Position. Working at EABR is like a childhood dream come true and I take pride in the work I do there. When I'm testing I never leave a stone unturned because even the smallest oddity has proven to cause significant issues.

I am currently on my second contract at EABR and have worked on a number of different projects, the first being Battlegrounds, now known as Dawngate. Throughout the duration of my time on Dawngate I was consecutively the number one tester in terms of bug numbers ( [?]% of all bugs on the project / [?] chaff rate ). I achieved this by Ad-Hawking every aspect of the game thoroughly. I was also entrusted in a number of different rolls for the team, such as DevTrack Database Manager (DBM), Pod Leader, and Point of Contact (POC).

The second project I was a part of was Ebisu, also known as Origin Client. Origin is a very unique project to work for due to the low bug expectation, but it is far from the slowest. During my time on Origin I focused on helping knock out the many task the team is assigned regularly on both Windows and Mac.

The final project I was a part of was Command and Conquer (Mobile); however, my time on the project was short due to it's cancellation. In the few short weeks I was on the project I was able to leave a significant impact by communicating with partners regularly, thoroughly testing the game, and quickly finishing any and all assignments given to our team. Before the unfortunate shut down of Mythic (company developing the game), I was able to accumulate a total of over one hundred bugs as well as complete a great number of assignments (65.1% of all bugs on the project / 4.9% chaff rate).

I would have never been able to do my job as effectively as I have if I had not communicated with my fellow employees. Every person has something to offer, that being said everyone can learn from everyone else. No one is perfect and knowing that I am always striving to better myself as a tester by taking advantage of the knowledge of those around me as well as helping those who may need it. Communication with partners is especially important, if I had not built relations with partners on every project I was a part of I would not be where I am today. I look forward to hearing from the recruitment team at EABR and thank you for your consideration.

Best,
Benjamin Steib
