When we two parted is about a man and girl...a couple and they broke up,but he cant get over it. The strusture of this poem is ciclycal structure. In his life Lord Byron has a lot of affairs with a lot of woman,but he cant get over this relationship because their relationship has to be in secret and we know this because he says ,,in sicret we met, in silence i grieve,,. I think this means that their relationship has to be in secret, because may be she has a husband or she is famous and this quote means that they have been met in secret and then when they broke up he cant tell to anyone. And thats why when he hear her name hi still feel the pain because he cant tell to anyone about their relationship. He also says ,,They name thee before me, a knell in my ear". That quate means when he hear her name he ,,hear" the death.
