When it ask 7c when c=8 you multiply those number 7x8. So when an equation is like t x 2 + 1 + 2 x s and s = 2 and t = 7 the equation if supposed to be like this 7 x 2 + 2 + 1 + 2 = 19. So when an equation is 9 x 9 x 9 x 9 x 9 x 9 x 9 and they ask you to write an expression using a exponent you make it by looking at how much numbers are in the equation on my matter it would be 7 so you make the exponent you make it like this 9y y = 7. So when an equation if like 5y = 2 you multiply it like 5 x 5 so if it's like 5y = 3 you do 5 x 5 x 5. If you have a equation like 1y
= 5 you get 1 and only one. if you have and equation like this 12p + p and they ask you to combine the terms to create and equivalent expression this is how you do it 12p + 1p= =(12+1)p = 13p. if and equation if like this 4r + 14 − r − 6 and ask you to combine the terms to create and equivalent expression this is how you solve it so you combine the to r's and get one so you - 4 and 1 because if you combine both of the r's you get 1 so ( 4 - 1)r = 3r so then you - the 14 and 6 and get 8 and then you add the 3r + 8.


If a equation is like 5n - 2n you minus 5 and 2 like this ( 5 - 2 )n so once you subtract them you get 3 then you put the n right there so you get 3n. If an equation is like 4q + 3 + 2q − 1 first you add 4 and 3 (4 + 2 )q then you subtract 3 and 1 and that gets you 2 which you add 6q and 2.

If a equation if like 3(2 + 9g) you multiply the both of the numbers by the number outside of the parentheses. But the number with the letter goes first when you try to add it.
