Hi Hyde & Tibi!
Happy Valentine's Day! This might surprise you but I don't approach many holidays from a traditionalist view point. So this year I thought I would try to help YOU celebrate your "first" Valentine's Day as a "married" couple by sending along this little package.

You might be thinking, "wow that is a lot of Styrofoam and effort to send two bottles of water clear across the country." That would basically be accurate. But these bottles of water come with a STORY that hopefully will make you think more like, "oh okay I get it!"

So the story is that when my family and I were in New York during your Celebration week, we went on a really nice hike through a campground near Eagle Bay (I think it was Moss Lake). It had just rained and water droplets were hanging heavy on all the tree branches. As we went along the trail I started to occasionally go up to the trees and drink the water droplets straight off their leaves! Wow! This was not a pastime that I ever could have discovered in the deserts of Arizona.

Now I know you're both nature lovers so I'm probably safe here, but just in case you're like, "wow, that's super weird to be on a hike just licking the leaves the whole time," you have to understand that this water was like SO REFRESHING and wonderful coming straight from the tree leaves after a fresh rain!

Okay, so flash forward a number of months and I come across this unique beverage -- Asarasi Maple Water. The label says it's water that comes out of TREES! I was immediately reminded of my walk around Moss Lake. While paying $2 for a bottle of sparkling water went against many of my basic instincts, I decided to be crazy and try it -- just in case I could recreate that feeling I got drinking raindrops from leaves in a forest.

While I can't say it's exactly the same thing (and in fact, this Asarasi water is harvested sustainably from maple trees that are typically tapped for their syrup), I can say that this bottle of water tastes wonderfully refreshing. I personally like to treat it with the same regard as a fancy beer: best enjoyed chilled, with a loved one, in celebration of some special moment.

So now that you know that this admittedly luxurious alternative means of hydration has a connection to the most wonderful day of your love story, I hope you can find a special moment to enjoy it -- this round's on me!

With love,
Sara

PS. The incense doesn't come with any story other than I thought the name of it was ridiculous fun to say -- "fran-ja-pan-ee!"
