Frying Party w/ Nancy

Churro Ice cream bowl
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup water
stir and let boil
- 1 cup flour
stir, take off heat, and cool 5 min
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 eggs; stir in 1 at a time until homogeneous
put in piping bag, spray muffin tin, and make churro bowls
freeze solid and fry
- 1/2 cup sugar and 2 tbsp cinnamon and stir
cover in cinnamon and put ice cream in

Churro bombs
- same batter
- make bottom, put chocolate in, and cover
- freeze, fry, and cover in sugar

Normal Churro
- same but make one strip of batter

Chocolate-stuffed Churro donut
- make circles and put kisses on top and cover

Blooming Onion
- Onion (sweet (Vidalia) or white)
- cut top off onion and flip
- cut into 3 areas then cut into 3 more for each area
- flip and open up
- 1.5 cups milk and two eggs, stir
- 1.5 cups flour, 1.5 tbsp garlic powder, 2 tsp pepper, 1 tbsp paprika, 1 tbsp salt, mix
- cover with eggy mixture then flour mixture X2
- freeze then fry (400 degrees with bottom-side up and then flip and fry normally)
Dip
- 2 tbsp sour cream, 2 tbsp mayo, 1.5 tbsp ketchup and worchestershire, .5 tbsp salt, 1.5 tsp pepper, 1 tbsp paprika, stir

Goreng Pisang
- prep bananas by breaking in half then slicing lengthwise
- .25 cup flour, rice flour, and cornstarch, .25 tsp salt, 2 tbsp coconut, and stir
- mix 1/3 cup cold water and 1/3 tsp baking soda and pour into former bowl
- add 1 egg and a few drops of vanilla, stir well
- new bowl with 1/4 cup rice flour and 1 tbsp coconut and mix
- dip bananas in batter then dry
- fry 1 min per side

Fried Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich
- 3 cups buttermilk (shallots, garlic, onion?) (hot sauce?)
- wash chicken and pat dry before placing in marinade
- marinade chicken overnight
- 1.5 cups flour, 1/3 cup cornstarch, 1 tbsp garlic and onion powder and paprika, 2 tsp cayenne powder, 2 tbsp salt and mix
- shake off chicken before covering with flour and shake before dredging again
- shake/freeze then fry
- season a little with salt/pep then put in oven at 325-350 C for 6-7 min (roll over halfway thru)
Sauce
- Combine garlic and lemon juice in a medium bowl; let sit 10 minutes. Mix in mayonnaise, chives, celery seeds, and pepper; season with salt.
1 garlic clove, finely grated
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
½ cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons finely chopped chives
½ teaspoon celery seeds
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Kosher salt
- butter buns and brown
- Mix 1 Tbsp. pickle brine into 2 Tbsp. seasoned mayonnaise in a medium bowl. Add lettuce, season with salt and pepper, and toss to coat. Spread some seasoned mayonnaise over cut sides of buns. Build sandwiches with pickles, fried chicken, slaw, and more hot sauce, if desired.
