Mantra yang diajarkan pada tahun kelima di Sekolah Sihir Hogwarts, di mana mantra ini diajarkan ketika siswa telah memasuki tahun OWL. Kinerjanya adalah kebalikan dari Mantra Pengadaaan, di mana objek yang dilenyapkan di teleportasi ke suatu tempat yang telah di tuju sebelumnya dan tentu benda-benda yang di lenyapkan juga mempengaruhi kesulitan dalam menerapkannya.
Contoh mantra :
- Arania Exumai = Menghilangkan laba-laba dalam jumlah sedikit.
- Deletrius = Menghapus bayangan hantu yang dihasilkan oleh mantra Priori Incantatem.
- Evanesco = Membuat sesuatu lenyap atau hilang.
- Scourgify = Melenyapkan noda atau kotoran.
- Tergeo = Menghilangkan kotoran dalam jumlah sedikit.
- Vipera Evanesca = Melenyapkan ular.
- ARANAI EXUMAI:
Mantra ini diperuntukkan kepada Grade 6 keatas. Fungsi mantra ini adalah untuk menghilangkan laba-laba dalam jumlah sedikit. "Pelafalan dari mantra ini xukup rumit. Yaitu: ah-RAHN-ee-a EGGS-oo-may. Warna yang akan dihasilakn nanti adalah Biru. Gerakan Wand untuk mantra ini adalah dengan mengarahkan wand pada laba-laba. Dalam bahasa latin, araneus berarti “laba-laba”, sedangkan exuo, berarti “aku mengesampingkan”.
