Karena perbedaan gerakan. Pada kungfu utara lebih mendominasi adalah kecepatan dan kekuatan yang terefleksi pada tendangan, kaitan dan sapuan kaki sedangkan, kungfu aliran selatan lebih dominan kuda-kuda pendek, kecepatan, kelembutan dan kekuatan yang terefleksi pada pukulan, kuncian, totokan, lemparan dan bantingan.
1. Huang Feihong adalah salah satu tokoh bersejarah kungfu.
2. Wingchun dan kungfu masih berkaitan.
3. Tema kungfu diangkat menjadi sebuah film anak-anak berjudul 'Kungfu Panda'.
