2. This is a picture I took while on a bus tour in Seoul, South Korea. Since the majority of south Korea is mountainous and forest covered, I took a geography tour. The building shown is pagoda style, which is named after the "stacked" layers of the structure.
3. This picture is of Swayambhunath, an ancient temple in Kathmandu, Nepal. Swayambhunath actually means "sublime trees" because of the trees on the hill it was built on. This temple is also known as the monkey temple because of the monkeys that live in part of it, as shown in my photograph. This temple also has a stupa which is a tall, normally golden structure atop a temple, made to symbolize royalty like a crown.
4. This is an image I took while in Hanoi, Vietnam of the Tran Quoc Pagoda. The Tran Quoc Pagoda is the oldest Buddhist temple in Hanoi and is located on a small island on the southeastern shore of Hanoi.
5. This picture is of the Garni temple in Yerevan, Armenia. The Garni Temple was built in 77 AD and is the last self standing greco-roman temple in Armenia which almost fell due to an earthquake in 1679.
6. This is a picture I took of King Fahd's Fountain in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. King Fahd's Fountain is a beautiful, iconic fountain in saudi arabia that gets up to 1,024 feet high and lights up with hundreds of lights after dark.
