Broad Function for the Business analyst job

The Analyst functions within the change management department as a liaison between business teams, IT teams and third party vendor.
This position reports to the head of change management to ensure the core business application reflect the functionality necessary to address business goals and objectives.
The key objectives of the business analyst include documenting, expanding, clarifying, and transforming into projects; the vision, goals, and intentions of business owners and key stakeholders and to support the creation of unique products, services, and processes. The business analyst plays a key role in the value chain of the organization, focusing on business benefits, customer satisfaction, and solutions that delight and motivate.


Primary Responsibilities:
• Work with internal customers to understand their business needs and requirements
• Isolate and clarify key business objectives in order to build solutions that return value and purpose to the organization
• Define and document requirements of the business, providing critical analysis of stated requirements
• Work with third party vendor to develop the business requirements into a business solution
• Follow-up on development and release of the solution
• Work with business leads to define and implement test plans
• Provide expertise in resolving system issues when needed internally or with the third party vendor
• Provide the following support to change management projects:
• Knowledge Transfer/Training
• Communications
• Analysis
• Develop and document change management procedures
• Document the projects and assure all required documents available for each projects
• Create and update projects documentation based on current and new requirements

Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree in business or Information Technology (or Computer Science) or comparable experience.
• Project management exposure / experience and skills.
• Experience in common desktop software for editorial, visualization and spread sheets

Requirements (Skills/Experience):
• Experience in mortgage, banking, retail financing environments, or a comparable domain
• 1-2 + years of Business Analysis experience
• Good English language skill
• Familiar with software development lifecycles.
• Experience facilitating software implementation and releases.
• Experience documenting user stories, use cases, business processes and workflows.
• Experience working with outside technical vendors
• Willing team player in a collaborative environment
• Experience facilitating requirements sessions and business meetings related to change management
• Self-motivated/proactive learner. To have an inquisitive personality and quickly learn new domains.
• Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage complex projects (multiple stakeholders/functions, systems, and/or perspectives/objectives).
