I want someone who is trustworthy, kind, confident, and clever as my leader on this island. If I had to choose out of Piggy, Ralph, and Jack, I would have to see who has all or most or these qualities. If I choose Jack, I know that he will rule with confidence, and that we will always have food, but we don't know where this food is coming from. Also, Jack would most likely try and preserve him and his choir's life on the island, instead of trying to get all of us rescued. If I voted for Ralph, I would run the risk of everyone on the island just doing whatever the hell they want to. Jack always had way too much power on the island, because Ralph was too humble about his ranking. Now, if I chose Piggy, even though he isn't physically fit or confident, he is definitely someone who I can trust to get us off of this island. He comes up with so many innovative ideas to make island life easier and rescuing more likely. He gives everyone on the island a chance to speak, and always tries to enforce the rules and keep order. Even if he cannot do too much physical labor, he is the brains behind almost all of the actions taken by Ralph. Without Piggy, Ralph's leadership on the island would have collapsed, and Jack and his cold blooded killers would have taken over everything. Not to mention the fact that they would never have any fire to cook their meat or signal for help without Piggy's specs. Even though he doesn't exactly look like a leader, he definitely thinks and acts like one.
