- a slide presentation is not needed for the closing discussion
- discuss what we can do to make online spaces more comfortable
- it'll be nice to have a transition for right before subtle asian traits (establish similarities and differences between the two topics, ie pop media vs social culture)
- important to establish context before we ask the discussion questions
- set up general themes in the beginning of the presentation, and at the end of the presentation, remind them of the themes
- recap what was in the articles, work in the articles into the crazy rich asians activity
- we could talk about which article correlates with which question, providing context
- have volunteers summarize the articles
- have the person who's talking stand up
- make sure we have outreach to other asian organizations, since this event is not exclusively chinese and we encourage diverse views
