ATATÜRK
A great leader, politician and the first President of Turkish Republic. He was born in 1881 at Ottoman Empire, Selânik (Now, Thessaloniki in Greece). He died on November 10th, 1938. He was one of the greatest commanders on the world.

In 1881, he was born in a dark and stormy night. Some people say that night was the 19th of May, but there isn't a certain information. His father was Ali Rıza Efendi (Sir Ali Rıza). He was a soldier and a customs officer. He was a secularist and nationalist person. So it was the biggest reason of Mustafa Kemal's going to modern schools. Atatürk' s mother was Zübeyde Hanım (Miss Zübeyde). She was a religious women. She wanted to send Mustafa Kemal to religional schools, but Ali Rıza Efendi didn't agree to that idea and he wanted to send Mustafa Kemal to modern schools. I think it was the most important thing in his life. He went to modern schools and military schools. He graduated at 1905 as a Staff Captain. He joined wars and had a great success from these wars. The most important of these wars was Gallipoli War. He didn't just fight against enemies, he fought against poverty, too. After a great win at Gallipoli, Turkish people started to leve Mustafa Kemal so much. Then he attended lots of more wars. If he even didn't win all of these wars, he had great successes. After wars, it was time to build a modern Turkish Republic. There were six principles of Atatürk. They were republicanism, populism, secularism, reformism and nationalism. He builded the Turkish Republic by the help of these principles. He didn't just build it, he dedicated his life to improve Turkish Republic. He builded Grand National Assembly of Turkey to coordinate all the movement. He changed the alphabet from Ottoman Alphabet based on Arabic Alphabet to modern Turkish Alphabet based on Latin Alphabet. He abolited the Sultanate. He was against religional movement. His secularism principle shows that. He changed the clothes to modern ones. It is his reformism principle. He attached value on womens and their rights. It is an example to his populism principle. I mean that, he founded Turkish Republic and worked hard to improve it. He dedicated his life to Turkish nation and our country. He created Turkish Republic without having enough resources and our nation helped him as economical and as spiritual. He worked hard, builded factories, made laws, improved our economy, supported education and did everything to help our country and nation. We should choose him as a leader to us. The best way to improve is education and science. We have to dedicate our lives to our country. So, in the way of modern-nationalist Turkish Republic, Atatürk says that to us: "The strenght you need is already imbedded in your noble blood!"
