maksud murah hati adalah tidak bersitegang atau mak nanya serupa dengannya, bukan berarti tidak melakukan perhitungan saat melakkan jual-beli.
Murah hati dan dermawan merupakan dua sifat yang sudah menjadi tradisi kuat dalam kehidupan umat islam, dua sifat ini merupakan sebagian kecil dari akhlak-akhlak mulia umat islam yang bisa dirasakan dalam kehidupan keseharian. Bukti kesempurnaan iman seseorang.
Dalam bahasa Arab, kemurahan hati disebut dengan istilah “al-karam”. Kata ini mempunyai arti memberikan harta berharga miliknya dengan penuh kerelaan hati, atau membelanjakan harta miliknya untuk kebaikan.
