I trusted you, but now your words mean nothing because your actions speak the truth, it wasn't your fault, it was mine, for believing every word you said. It's not the lie that bothers me, it's the insult to my intelligence that I find offensive, for you I was a paper or maybe a chapter, for me you were the book. I tried, You didn't and I'm done. I'm done with you, with us, with words that mean one thing and actions that said another, with every moment of dishonesty and indecision, I see clearly now that you dont wanted to give me your time and affection.
I usually give people more chances than they deserve but one I'm done. I'm done.
I stood by your side, you pushed me away, I am tired of explaining my feelings to you but now I dont have the energy to explain them anymore. I'm just trying to move on gracefully with all my dignity.
I've learned "the hard way" that some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle and end. Life is about not knowing.
Let me tell you the the worst part. You knew how afraid I was of being failed. You know that and after all the time and effort I put of building my confidence and trust in you, you broke it.
The saddest end to a relationship is one where you have to break up with somebody when you're still in love with them. It sounds bizarre but it happens, love isn't always enough and to be in love doesn't always mean you're happy. You can continue to love someone even after they've hurt you, but you now deep inside yourself that it won't be the same again, so at some point, you have to let them go.
As Kiddard said: "Anything you can’t control is teaching you how to let go"
