One day a 23 year old woman, Holly and her 25 year old Fiancé, George, were away on an overnight to Aberdeen a large city in the north of Scotland which was a long drive as they lived further south. They done many things like went shopping and Holly even bought a very, very expensive pair of shoes as George thought she really deserved because she was a very hard working woman. Holly was training to be a nail Technician but done 4 days of working in a bar, she done this from 6pm-9pm and everyday apart from Sundays she trained In collage from 8am-3pm. This is why George thought she deserved a break for 2 days. They returned home on a Sunday to their beautiful house based around a small village called Lanark, to find a random letter at the door, they were so unsure if they should open It that night or leave it to the morning because it was 11pm and they were very tired and scared it would be bad news which would lead to a bad nights sleep, this could've been anything because holly was hoping to buy an old shop unit and decorate it into a nail bar that also does waxing treatments but first she would have to find someone capable of doing waxing although she was going to the training, she decided it was best to have someone able to do it straight away, They just placed the letter on the kitchen table and then they quickly prepared a snack including blueberries, strawberries, raspberries and yogurt which was Georges favourite snack. They had planned on unpacking the next day but Holly didn't see the point and began doing it that night, 12am came and Holly still wasn't finished, she knew she had work in the morning but really wanted it done. It was 01:30 when Holly settled down to sleep. Her alarm has always been scheduled to go off at 06:30 because she enjoys having a re4freshingly cold shower in the morning, but today Holly struggled to even turn off her alarm. All Holly could think about was calling in sick due to her tiredness but decided not to in-case she really needed the day off one day and this day got in the way of that. She got out of bed at 7am and knew she had to rush, in the shower she went and bounced out with a spring in her step as she was super excited to open this mail. She put on her nicest outfit as she also had a work meeting with the lady that confirms if she will receive her certificate showing she is a nail technician this week, so Holly thought she had to dress nice. George left for work at 07:15, he worked as a police investigator, and he had decided Holly should be the one opening the mail, but Holly was dearly hoping it was the letter to say her offer for the unit had been accepted because it went through a sort of bidding and practically the highest won but so many people offered the same amount so it then went through a letter of why they think it should be theirs, and so many more questions. Holly had filled this about around a month ago and this was when it was due back, they had been told the only letter they would receive would be to say it was theirs and if none came through this week then they didn't get it. Holly done everything she had to before she left and picked up her handbag, she then began heading towards the mail. she slowly opened it, on the top of the letter it said it was from the agents that were selling the unit, from this moment on Holly knew she had gotten it. She read the rest of the letter, explaining how good her letter was and they really thought Holly deserved it. Holly never realised it was 07:55 and collage was about a 15 min drive, Holly knew she was going to be late but had a really good reason as to why but she was unsure if it would be a good enough reason for the collage not to give her a lecture about how no jobs will accept her being late, although this didn't fully apply to Holly because now was the start of her new life. She finally approached the collage building at 08:05, which meant she had been 5 min quicker, she stepped of her car with hope that they would understand because hollu is never late but in the collage it is a really big thing if you are late which is why everyone avoids it.
