chang-kyun was sitting in a chair in the waiting room, nervously tapping his toe against the carpeted floor. it had been some time since he had last visited a clinic for this specific purpose, it was exciting, yes, but also very nerve wrecking. there was always the possibility that something could wrong, and that idea scared the young male a lot more than he wish it did. the boy had been distracted when they first called his name, but at the second mention of it, he quickly stood up, "sorry," he flashed an awkward grin and followed the nurse to his designated room. after waiting for a little more, kyun was finally able to stare up at the screen that displayed the small shape of his baby. the male couldn't help but smile wide, not being able to hold back his excitement and letting a couple tears flow from his eyes. once the boy was given the opportunity to listen to the heartbeat, he quickly pulled out his phone and recorded the sound. the whole ultrasound had been so heart warming.

upon arriving to his house, chang-kyun made sure he could communicate with hyukjae as soon as possible, quickly calling the older through facetime so he could show him the pictures and the video of the baby's heartbeat. he was so excited. "hi love!"
