Me: hiya kids! Today we’re in the salt water marshes. This is because of little organisms called the “Euglena”. Right now I have a sample of this water, thanks Bob, and I will show you what this little guy looks like.
I will show you all by using a very special magnifying glass. Thanks to Bob here, oh! Bob we got one! Hm? Oh... sorry guys he doesn’t want to walk over in the marsh. Cause his shoes will get muddy. Anyway, so Euglena’s are very special organisms. They can use photosynthesis ‘word of the day: photosynthesis- the process of using sunlight and turning it into food’ the use of turning sunlight to food- ‘I said that already’ oh well. And they catch prey. They are super hungry you see, so they make food at day and catch it at night. Bob! Stop eating pizza during the show!
Yesh! Alright so where was I? Oh right night eating. So at night these little guys have to catch prey. Hm? Yes Bob? They don’t need legs to move. Fish don’t have legs! They have fins... now these guys use flagella. Here. You see that tail looking thing? That’s it. BOB! What the flippy flop are you doing!
