Hello everyone, today I will show you the humanitarian core values. There are many humanitarian core values, but I will mention four of them. These are hope, fairness, persistence, courage.
Hope...
First, I will tell you about hope.
Hope is an optimistic state of mind that is based on an expectation of positive results with respect to events and circumstances in one's life or the world at large. Hope gives you the energy to continue to live. Hope also allows us to be innovative. Therefore we find and develop new things all the time.
---Samuel Johnson, the British writer, said that about hope. There is no hope, there is no initiative. So to live happily without worries, we should always be hopeful.
Fairness...
Our second humanitarian core value is fairness. Fairness is the most significant of humanitarian values. Without justice, people can not be in wellbeing and no one was equal to anyone. For example, if there is discrimination, no one could be happy and chaos would occur. And according to Emmanuel Kant, if justice leaves the world, there's nothing to value human life. So if that happen, people give up and start hurting each other.
Persistence...
And another value is persistence. Persistence is the fact of continuing in an opinion or course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition. People couldn't do anything without persistence, and they couldn't survive. So, if we are patient, we will finally get what we want. Benjamin Franklin said that Energy and persistence conquer all things. So, If we're persistence enough, we could find and produce new things.
Courage...
And the last one is courage. Courage is to be brave and confident enough to do what you believe in. Courage allows you to live life more comfortably and continue without saying I wish. For example, you want to do something, but you don't have the courage to do it, and what you always want to do doesn't happen. And I finish my presentation this sentence from Rumi. ''Don't be satisfied with stories, how things have gone with others. Unfold your own myth.''
