Burak Kara 1 Temmuz 1995'te Yozgat'ta 3 çocuklu bir ailenin son çocuğu olarak dünyaya gelmiştir. Babasının adı Halil annesinin adı Merve'dir. Burak doğduğunda babası emekli polis annesi ise ev hanımıydı. İlkokulunu kendi memleketi Yozgat'ta okumuş ve eğitiminin ilk yıllarında bile başarılı bir öğrenci olduğunu kanıtlamıştır. Ortaokula geldiğinde ise ailesinin geçim sıkıntılarından dolayı İstanbul'a taşınmış ve ortaokulunu İstanbul'da okumuştur. Ortaokuldaki sınavlarında da başarısını koruyabilmiş ve ardından ortaokul sonunda girdiği sınavdan yüksek bir puan alarak İstanbul Atatürk Fen Lisesi'ne gitmiştir. Lisedeyken ileride yapacağı meslek hakkında uzun uzun düşünmüş ve kendisi ve milleti için en hayırlısı olanın polislik olduğuna karar vermiştir. Polislik hedefini belirledikten sonra bu hedefi için her zamankinden daha çok çalışmış ve 4 yıllık lise eğitim sonrasında yine İstanbul'da Polis Meslek Yüksekokuluna başvurmuştur. Polis Meslek Yüksekokulu'na ilk girdiğinde kendisini biraz yabancı hissetse de yaklaşık 1 yıl sonra ortama alışmış ve güzel dostluklar edinip biraz da kişisel gelişimi için uğraşmıştır. Yüksekokulda da kendini kanıtlayabilmiştir. 4 yıllık süre sonunda Yüksekokulu başarıyla bitirdikten sonra ise İstanbul Emniyet Müdürlüğü'ne başvurusunu yapmış ve şimdilerde de başvurusunun sonuçlanmasını heyecanla beklemektedir.
