*Basic Fiefs: the smallest units, about 400 acres or 0.625 square miles. Based on land farmed by the local village of an average of 500 people. Led by a Council. The size of the village and population vary depending on the local surroundings. Some being sparsely or uninhabited, consider more of a liability than an asset.
*Manors: The holdings of a vassal, considered a lesser lord. Holds around 5 Basic Fiefs, about 2000 acres or 3 miles together. This will include his own demesne. Sometimes more or less, but 5 on average.
*Baronies: The holdings of a Baron, considered a lord. Holds 375 about miles, a variable number of manors, but a 125 if all are average. Regardless of the number of manors, the area is around 375 miles. Plus their own demesne of manors.
*Counties: The holdings of a count, considered a regional lord. Holds around 3750 to 7500 miles, 10 to 20 Baronies. Highly variable, and generally more if holding dangerous baronies. Plus their demesne of a barony, or a few, and a variable number manors.
*Duchies: The holdings of a duke, considered a great lord. Holds 2 to 6 counties, thus a highly variable amount of land. With a demesne of a county, baronies, and no small amount of manors.
*Kingdoms: Based on the number of duchies, thus variable.
*Empires: Based on the number of duchies, thus variable.
