Notes

- Kaito turns 18 halfway through his senior year of high school. He comes out to his parents, they disown him, and he goes to live with his estranged older sister (who's 22 and a bartender at the time). At the same time, Len is halfway through his sophomore year of high school (he is 17)

- Kaito continues living with Meiko and the two grow incredibly close. He has some financial aid for college but as he is technically still under his parents' guardianship and they make a lot of money, he didn't get much FAFSA help. He and Meiko both work to afford college. Meiko starts working as a stripper on the side. Kaito turns 19 halfway through his freshman year (Len is 18)

- The summer before sophomore year starts, Kaito realizes just how in danger they are, financially. He starts working nights at the strip club and daytimes at the restaurant. (He is 19, Meiko is 23, Len is 18)

- Halfway through his sophomore year, Kaito turns 20 (Meiko is 23/24 and Len is 19). He continues working two jobs and keeping up his schoolwork. Meiko has also been working two jobs and occasionally does an odd job on the side (like bartending for parties and shit).

- So Kaito is 20, Meiko is 24, Len is 19. Sophomore year is almost over, finals are coming up. Kaito has been working at the club for almost a year. Meiko has been working at the club for just over 2 years.
