Galas Amblecrown

Son of a minor lord, Galas is an exceptional fighter who used his birthright to gain entry to smaller tournaments. After easily winning in the local tournament scene, Galas sought to test his metal in the national championships. The championship trials took place and Galas found himself in the finals. Only to be defeated Krusk Ownka, a half orc who no matter how many times he hit seemed to remain unscathed. Defeated and humiliated Gaslas was convinced Krusk had cheated somehow. Galas rarely lost a fight, and if he did his opponent certainly didn't leave unscathed. Galas was now unable to enter the tourny unless he payed a fee. However his father refused to pay the exorbitant entry costs, and lacking the fame required to be given a free pass Galas found himself in somewhat of a pickle. Krusk went on to win the national championships to become Krusk the Untouchable, leaving Galas with a burning desire for revenge.

A night in the local tavern presented a solution to his issues. his childhood friend Quentin Coyle, a more well read fellow than Galas, told Galas the tale of the Vorpal Sword, a sword that cut anything, even the thickest dragon hide. Galas, enraptured by this tale made it his mission to find the Vorpal Sword and to slay a mighty dragon. After committing such a deed how could he be refused entry to the national championships. Then, with the blade that could cut anything, Galas believes he will be able to defeat Krusk and his impenetrable hide, to win a championship that is rightfully his.

Despite his athletic prowess and dashing good looks, Galas is not a bright man, slow to learn to ignorant to the consequences of his actions he tends to jump onto the first thing that excites him, and stick at it until it is complete. Galas currently works with the Marshwalkers as an associate, having heard rumours that this faction bore a champion that slew a colossal werewolf, Galas hopes that by working them he may find out information that will lead him to the Vorpal Sword. After all, no one could kill a colossal werewolf without a powerful magical artifact.
