Batch time:
16 because that is the point when cell density is doubling every 2 hours, production is fastest, and most importantly we ran out of substrate.
Fed batch time:
Production slows down after 12. product inhibition happen and will lower volumetric productivity. That's a total of 28 hours of run time.
Temp:
As Riley explained, cells were dying because the system was too hot when the system was running at 35
Initial Substrate inhibition:
90 g/L was chosen because higher slows down recombinant protein production due to substrate inhibition.
Initial cell conc:
Highest because we want the process to reach the highest production rate as fast as possible
Fed batch flow and concentration:
Substrate consumption is high so feeding it as much as possible without substrate inhibition would be best

LESSON LEARNED
Big takeaways: as can be seen from the first trial, temp and time
temperature definitely, cost us big time
Can see from VP that shorter time is better
Also reduce process time cuts down the cost of experiment to find the final parameters for our recipe by 60%
Choosing the parameters based on the volumetric productivity would help the team narrow down initial parameters used, specifically the time. Shorter time means higher Volumetric productivity

The current system is capable of having VP up to around .0409,
Steps to scale up reactor volume production:
- use a battery of reactors installed with hard piped CIP system and automated valve manifold
- saves time and money, reduces down time, and eliminates time and money spent on COP system
