I am a xx year student in the yy stream in this institution. I was unable to clear my exam in zz subject. I have secured 39 marks out of 100, which is just below the required marks for passing the exam.
This was due to <give reason: illness/family emergency/death of loved ones>. I have performed above average in all other subjects. I am assured that given the chance to write a supplementary exam in zz, I will clear it.
Kindly provide permission to appear in a supplementary exam for zz (xx year, yy stream).
