Apparate-Disapparate adalah salah satu mantra non verbal yang cukup rumit dan merupakan salah satu transportasi yang bisa digunakan wizard.
Untuk melakukan mantra ini, diperlukan 3 hal utama (biasa disebut 3D). 3D yaitu Destinasi, Determinasi dan Deliberasi. Melakukan apparate dibutuhkan tingkat konsentrasi tinggi, pikiran yang tenang dan juga bayangan tujuan yang jelas.
Jika tidak menerapkan 3D itu, maka akan terjadi splinching (pemisahan bagian tubuh secara acak). Splinching sangatlah berbahaya. Tingkat splinching dapat berkisar dari hal yang minim, seperti kehilangan rambut, potongan baju, dan bisa juga yang parah (kehilangan daging/otot).
Saat melakukan apparate, rasanya akan seperti dijejalkan ke sebuah lubang sempit (mirip portkey, hanya saja tidak ada rasa mual berlebihan setelahnya).
