If I do not show up for the next couple rehearsals or the Thanksgiving Day Parade, I relinquish any and all leadership authorities and responsibilities of High Brass Rank Captain to mellophone Collin Lucas. All High Brass, including leadership, are to respect him as you wound any and all leadership and staff until my return. Any commands or adjustments Collin makes for the parade such as commands, music, block set up, body and Horn moves and etc will be official for the parade and will not be changed by any means whatsoever unless Mr Cable, Bidolli, or Mark say otherwise. Any arguments or show of force to try and wrong this decision of temporary transfer of leadership to Collin Lucas by anyone including other leadership will be met with harsh punishment as Collin Lucas and myself do not deserve any disrespect by any means whatsoever. Any press of concerns of what I am going through will be ignored completely and you will not ask anyone about my current condition until I myself say what is going on or what has happened. Anything that does happen if you are to ask/force someone to know my condition will be met will harsh punishment. Any and all decisions Collin Lucas makes unless told otherwise by a staff member or Mr Cable are final period dot. Do not ask me what is wrong, do not ask anyone what is wrong until I feel comfortable disclosing that topic to others. Anyone who tries to undermine Collin Lucas’s ability to lead by anyone and any means whatsoever will go directly to Mr Cable and he will determine what is fit for the situation. Do not say Snitches get stitches as your reason for not liking this decision as truth is a fixture of honesty and dependability and that is final. I apologize for the length, negativity at times, and complexity of this message, there is something I must do for the well being of myself and prevent another sorrow event from befalling not only the band but also the Band Senior Class Of 2019 and staff members who are involved with teaching them. Any and all questions will be answered by only myself and not until I am ready to disclose that information. As such, please do not poke fun, make assumptions, spread rumors and etc until I reveal everything to whom I feel comfortable and safe disclosing the entire truth to.
